Frequently Asked Questions

Unfortunately, no. Having a valid WA driver's license (or equivalent) is a requirement.

We generally recommend that once a learner passes their PDA, they get at least 6 months on-road experience before coming on one of our courses to get the most out of it.

Our 4WD course are held in Keysbrook & Mundijong, Western Australia.

Our 2WD and First Aid courses are held in Coogee, Western Australia.

We also offer on-site training, at an extra cost, for a minimum of 6 participants.

Yes we do.

However, if you feel more comfortable using your own vehicle you have that option too.

Yes. We can provide both automatic and manual cars. 

Please let us know that the time of your booking.

Our full day courses start at 8.30 am (please arrive by 8.15 am).

They finish at 4.00 pm.

Once your booking is confirmed you will be sent an invoice.

The invoice can be paid by direct deposit, BPAY or online with a credit card.

If you pay by credit there will be an additional surcharge of 1.8%. We accept all major cards including AMEX.

Unfortunately, no. We use third-party venues that are not set up with payment facilities.

Once any fees have been paid, your USI has been verified, and you have successfully completed the assessment, Saltire Training Group will email you your digital Statement of Attainment.

Assuming no concerns, you will usually receive the email within seven days of completing the course.

Yes, you can.

When booking let our Training Coordinator know. They'll determine if we can modify one of our vehicles to meet your needs, or if we recommend you complete the course in your own modified vehicle.
